At The Dog Zone our staff has the experience and love for your dog that you will not find anywhere else, caring for dogs is our passion.

Our staff is also involved with Cedar Valley Humane Society, Marion K9 Fun Run and Walk and The Dog Zone Tree Of Giving and Aiming For A Cure. Check out the staff bio's below. 

Hello! My name is Marissa and I have been with The Dog Zone since 2020 I have been working with animals for 6 years and also have experience in Vet and grooming. I enjoy spending my days with your fur babies and getting to know each and everyone. The Dog Zone is a perfect fit for me. In my down time you can find me spending time with my own fur babies and enjoying the outdoors

Hi ! My name is Brianna growing up I always wanted to work with dogs I started working at The Dog Zone in 2017 it has been a great opportunity to be around so many different breeds of dogs and meeting all the fur babies. I really enjoy my days working here and interacting with each and everyone.

Hi there! My name is Bri, I started working at the Dog Zone the summer of 2021. I studied art for 4 years at the University of Northern Iowa earning my Bachelor degree with honors. Oil Painting is my specialty I have been working with dogs for over 7 years and own 2 dogs and a cat. I love all of the dogs at the Dog Zone buy my soft spot is for Pitties and Vizsla’s.

Hi, my name is Natasha and I have been working working with dogs since 2019. I joined The Dog Zone in 2022, and I have always loved dogs and especially love meeting each and everyone of yours

Blake and Jane are the owners of The Dog Zone and also Echo Hill Kennel in Cedar Rapids, we have always had a love for dogs, raising, training and breeding dogs for the last 23 years. In the last eleven years we have trained dogs to achieve the highest level possible in the AKC Walking Hunt Test obtaining the top title given as “AKC Master Hunters”. We have also tested puppies up to 16 months in age in the NAVHDA organization obtaining the top score possible of 112 points and Prize One Titles. During the hunting season Blake is a professional upland guide for other groups of hunters from various states across the nation. The guided hunts have been featured in various outdoor publications and on outdoor television networks. We are also involved with the Aiming For A Cure Foundation. Our love and passion for dogs run very deep we look forward to getting know each of you and caring for your 4 legged companions.
